further information:

The theory of Sobolev spaces forms the basis for the modern study of Partial Differential Equations (PDEs). Their importance is hard to overstate: they provide adequate solution spaces for a whole zoo of PDEs, allow us to prove their solvability and even yield state-of-the-art numerical solution methods.
If you've always wanted to know how to solve PDEs and how to differentiate non-differentiable functions, then this seminar is for you!

Literature:
- H. Brezis: Functional Analysis, Sobolev Spaces and Partial Differential Equations,
- L. C. Evans: Partial Differential Equations.
